When my father passed away, none of us in the family knew what the next step was supposed to be. Khun Praew explained the whole situation in writing and it was the first time things actually felt manageable. The fee was exactly what was quoted, and the timeline was accurate.

The document preparation was thorough. There were some delays with the district office that were out of anyone's hands, but we were told about each one clearly and promptly. I was never left wondering what had happened or what was next. A solid, reliable service.

We had a disagreement within the family about our mother's estate. The counsel we received was measured and did not encourage escalation. We came to a resolution that everyone could accept, and the practitioner was always considerate in how she communicated with us. I am grateful for the approach taken.

My family did not realise how involved the document requirements could be when there is no will. Tarawat Counsel handled the entire process with the district office on our behalf. The updates were clear and I never had to chase for information. Good value for what was provided.

The estate review was helpful because it gave us a clear picture before we committed to anything further. The written summary was detailed and plain enough to share with other family members who are not familiar with legal matters. We went on to use the document service too.

I was referred here by a colleague and I understand why. Our situation was not straightforward — there were assets in two locations and more than one set of heirs involved. The practitioner was thorough, and importantly, did not rush us into any particular decision. I would recommend this practice to others in a similar situation.

Case Summaries
How matters have unfolded for families
These summaries are illustrative and names and details have been changed. They reflect common patterns in the types of matters we handle.
Case Summary · Estate Review
A family unsure where to begin after a sudden passing
Situation
Three adult siblings lost their father unexpectedly. He had some property and savings, but no will had been located. The family was unfamiliar with Thai succession law and was uncertain whether they needed to go to court or could manage the matter administratively.
What Was Done
We completed an estate and heirship review, which included a consultation with all three siblings together and a written assessment of their legal position under intestate succession rules. The summary explained clearly who the statutory heirs were and what steps would follow for the assets involved.
Outcome
The family received the written overview within eleven days. They understood their position clearly for the first time and were able to make an informed decision about whether to proceed further. The review confirmed that court involvement was not required for the assets in question.

Succession paperwork for a family managing a difficult period
Situation
A widow and her two children needed to transfer land title after her husband's passing. The process involved the Land Department and required a range of documents that the family had no experience preparing. They had also received conflicting advice from others about what was required.
What Was Done
We prepared the full set of required succession documents and managed all liaison with the Land Department on the family's behalf. The widow was updated at each stage and did not need to attend office visits herself. When one submission required additional information, we handled the follow-up directly.
Outcome
The title transfer was completed successfully. The process took approximately six weeks, with three weeks of that attributable to the Land Department's own schedule. The family received a written summary of all documentation at close. The widow noted that the main value was not having to manage this process herself during an already difficult time.
Case Summary · Dispute Counsel
A contested will within an extended family
Situation
A will had been found that a portion of the family believed did not reflect their parent's actual wishes. One side was considering a formal challenge; the other was ready to accept the will as written. A neutral, thorough assessment was needed before the family made any irreversible decisions.
What Was Done
We assessed the facts of the case carefully, including the will's execution, the circumstances at the time, and the legal grounds on which a challenge might be considered. We communicated our assessment plainly to both parties' representatives and outlined what a formal challenge would involve in realistic terms, including the timeline and requirements.
Outcome
Following the factual review, the family agreed to a negotiated arrangement that did not require a court process. This avoided significant additional cost and time for all parties. Both sides acknowledged that having an objective assessment early in the matter was what made the resolution possible.
